(C-1) Effects of active mobility environments and neighborhood social connectedness on the health of children ages 0–5

The Spanish CenteringPregnancy® (Spanish-Centering) program is a culturally responsive group prenatal care model for families in Alameda County. For two decades, the program has offered an alternative to traditional care for many immigrant and publicly insured patients. Through a mixed-methods evaluation, we found that Spanish-Centering is clinically beneficial and a trusted community space. Findings will guide improvements to ensure Spanish-speaking families receive culturally affirming care.
