(D-6) Developing and assessing video interventions to improve infant mortality health literacy among English- and Spanish-Speaking Latino Americans: A mixed method approach
The BabySTEPs program delivers evidence-based brief interventions for substance use to pregnant and postpartum individuals confidentially via sms messaging. The program includes: (1) a digital helpline where mothers receive tailored real-time support from a trained professional via text message; (2) automated daily messages providing support and brief interventions; and (3) a learning collaborative that allows providers serving this population to connect with and learn from one another.
