My name is Alyssa Catania, and I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in psychology at Mercy University. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in human resource development from Siena College. My primary research interests include maternal mental health, health disparities among underrepresented populations, and I am currently in the process of developing a study examining the influence of attachment styles on various aspects of the transition into adulthood. After receiving my master's degree, I hope to continue my education by pursuing a PhD in clinical psychology, to engage in both research and clinical practice.
