Grants & Program Data Manager
Maggie's Place
Alicia Solano serves as the Grants & Program Data Manager at Maggie’s Place, bringing nearly nine years of experience supporting pregnant and parenting women experiencing homelessness. In her role, Alicia oversees comprehensive data collection, evaluation, and reporting processes that drive program quality and strengthen maternal and child health outcomes. She has played a key role in developing Maggie’s Place’s tiered Maternity Home model and advancing a trauma‑informed, evidence‑based service approach for vulnerable mothers and infants. Alicia also leads major data infrastructure improvements, including a multi‑year partnership with OPRE through the FSSDD grant, which has enhanced the organization’s capacity to use data for continuous quality improvement and decision‑making.
At Maggie’s Place, she integrates data and evaluation into program design to build a culture of stability, employment readiness, and long‑term self‑sufficiency for mothers. Her work reflects a deep passion for strengthening family systems, expanding access to supportive housing for pregnant women, and elevating data‑informed strategies that improve health and well‑being.
