Biviana Lynch is a Cuban-Irish American woman studying for her Masters in Science of Psychology at Mercy University in Dobbs Ferry, New York and with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Manhattanville University, where she was president of Manhattanville's Psi Chi Honor Society and co-founder and President of the Psychology Club. At Mercy, she works in the Maternal Mental Health-Research Training Center as a student Scholar/ Researcher and is proud to work for the improvement of Hispanic mother's mental health and life. This cause is near to her heart as she has cared for the Hispanic matriarchs of her family and has seen struggles and injustice first hand, espeically in the healthcare system. She is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish. She hopes to pursue a career in Neuropsychology, driven to research and treat rare neuropsychological disorders due to her own lived and personal experience with loved ones and herself. She is presenting at AMCHP's poster presentations on "Family-Focused Practice Promotes Connections For Hispanic/Latina Mothers", and is excited to share her community's work on the topic, and is even more excited to meet you!
