Daniela DiMirco holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Sciences with a concentration in Psychology and is currently in her first year of a Master’s program in Psychology. Her academic and professional interests center on maternal mental health, with a particular focus on postpartum experiences and the psychological well-being of mothers in medical settings. Daniela aspires to pursue a career as a psychologist working in hospital NICU settings, where she hopes to support mothers navigating postpartum challenges, maternal-infant bonding, and the emotional impacts of neonatal care. She is especially interested in research that advances understanding of maternal mental health and improves culturally responsive, evidence-based support for families during the perinatal period.
