Lead Maternal and Child Health Epidemiologist

Genevieve Lalanne Raymond serves as the Lead Maternal and Child Health Epidemiologist for the Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology unit within the Division of Family Health Services at the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH). In this role, Ms. Lalanne-Raymond directs several large-scale data initiatives, including the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS), the Fetal-Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) program, the New Jersey Maternal Mortality Review Committee (NJMMRC), and evaluation projects. As a nurse, she integrates clinical expertise with public health practice to improve maternal and child health outcomes. She continuously designs and conducts complex statistical analyses to identify underlying factors associated with maternal and child morbidities at the state level. Ms. Lalanne-Raymond earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts in Boston and her Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health.
