Molly Meyer is a Senior Research Scientist/Epidemiologist for the division of Child and Family Health at the Minnesota Department of Health. She works to assure that Minnesota’s maternal and child health programs, including children and youth with special health care needs, have access to policy and program relevant information and data to make informed decisions. Due to bias, power differentials, and the trauma data can cause, she works to educate and frame her work using the lenses of health equity and data feminism. Molly serves as subject matter expert related to maternal and child health data/research to support the agencies' policy and program decision-making. She has 10 years of research experience at the State of Minnesota and holds a Masters of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology from University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics, Cell biology, and Development from the University of Minnesota.
