TRAUMA NURSE
TRAUMA HOSPITAL AT MEDICAL CENTER PUERTO RICO, Puerto Rico
I am currently a trauma nurse with six years of experience in the hospital area, I had work in areas such as intensive (ICU), emergency room, pediatric area Medicine and Telemetry floor, recovery unit and trauma stabilizing unit. I have been part of the youth advisory council in Puerto Rico for two years, I was YVA member for tree years, currently part of AMCHP as Conference Liaison representing YVA. I have a lot of desire to serve the community and had the opportunity to be involved in community service projects, especially with youth. I believe that the mental health matters and specially in the youth community, because this population many times don't have support by the system or they have barriers to accessing health services.
