In Minnesota, dozens of youth in mental health crisis board in emergency departments due to limited placement options. The Mental Health Collaboration Hub connects hospitals, counties, and community providers through a secure online platform and weekly calls to coordinate placements and share solutions. Children entered into the Hub experience a 71% reduction in boarding time, moving more quickly into settings that meet their needs and strengthening a more connected, responsive system of care.
