Family Engagement Consultant Washington Department of Health; Children & Youth with Special Health Care Needs Program, Washington
The Washington CYSHCN team collaborated with partners from family-led organizations and other partners to form the Family Advisory Council in 2023. This group has continued to meet regularly to provide direct input from families of CYSHCN on care coordination. Members come from all over the state and bring their insight into navigating a variety of conditions and disabilities, as well as direct experience with systems, such as food assistance, early intervention, and child protective services.
