Dr Francine Seruya is Professor and Program Director of the Masters in Occupational Therapy Program at Mercy University in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Dr Seruya has been a pediatric occupational therapist for the past 30 with a focus in school-based practice and parent coaching models in early intervention. She is internationally recognized as an expert in her field with numerous presentations, peer reviewed publications, and has two newly edited academic texts on the use of theory in practice. She is the co-PI on a recent federal grant awarded to Mercy University supporting the development of research infrastructure while investigating maternal mental health issues of Hispanic mothers in Minority Serving Institutions from the Health Resource Service Administration (HRSA).
