Jenny Stern-Carusone’s tenure at Education Development Center as a prevention professional includes designing and providing technical assistance to state agencies, tribal governments, community-based organizations, schools and juvenile justice departments. As Associate Director at the Children’s Safety Network, she builds state/jurisdiction capacity to use data and evidence-based strategies to reduce injury-related deaths, hospitalizations, and emergency room visits. She leads the Child Safety Learning Collaborative, a 5-year project, supporting Title V agencies address priority child safety issues using continuous quality improvement. Despite being a telecommuter for over a decade, she actively engages in organizational improvement serving as a new employee ‘buddy’ and serving on several workgroups across the organization. She holds an MSW from Portland State University, and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Oregon.
