Jordan Steiner, PhD, LSW, MA is the lead Research Scientist in the Division of Health Data and Analytics (DHDA), at the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH), overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of both the NJ Report Card of Hospital Maternity Care & NJ Maternal Data Center. Prior to this position, she served as a researcher/data scientist at the Office of Justice Data at the NJ Office of the Attorney General, the Evaluator of sexual violence prevention programming at NJ Dep of Children and Families, & a research associate at the Center for Research on Ending Violence at Rutgers School of Social Work. She also has extensive experience in the field both domestically & internationally in refugee & immigration services, gender-based violence prevention and response, & health and well-being, and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Benin. She has a MSW & PhD from Rutgers School of Social Work, & an MA in International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia.
