(J-3) Nourishing the Peripartum Mind: A Mixed Methods Review of Online Nutrition Information for Postpartum Depression

From screens to plates-- this study assessed the quality, readability, and accuracy of online nutritional resources related to PPD. Our analysis revealed that most patient-facing sites were commercial or blog-based, written at advanced reading levels, poor quality based on the QUEST score, and low accuracy when compared to current, evidenced-based literature. Our findings highlight the need for patient-centered educational material to better educate patients on the role of nutrition in PPD.
