(A-2) Listening to Loss: A Rural Approach to Clinical and Community Care for Pregnancy Loss

Pregnancy and infant loss affects nearly 15% of known pregnancies, yet many communities, especially rural ones, lack structured emotional and social support for grieving mothers. This project hopes to provide an example of how to create evidence-based, patient-centered and community-oriented support for mothers experiencing pregnancy loss in rural and underserved communities, focusing on actions implemented in a rural critical-access hospital in South Dakota.
