TeamBirth is a standardized care process that centers birthing patients in decision-making to promote safety, dignity, and equity during intrapartum care. TeamBirth has been implemented in over 250 hospitals in 22 states in the United States and Sweden. In this session, we will share results from a recent state-wide evaluation of TeamBirth across 42 hospitals in Washington State, where we estimated the change in patients’ reported autonomy during childbirth after exposure to TeamBirth.
