Mallory Cyr works as the CYSHCN Senior Program Manager on the Child & Adolescent Health team at AMCHP. Mallory earned her MPH with a concentration in Maternal & Child Health from Boston University and holds a BFA in Creative Writing from the University of Maine at Farmington.
She brings a demonstrated understanding of national policy initiatives impacting those living with disabilities and medical complexities. Mallory served as a policy specialist and contract manager for Colorado’s Medicaid program, gaining a unique understanding of systems and benefits for both children and adults who fall into Medicaid’s eligible population, and providing oversight on a statewide implementation of Colorado’s Non-Emergency Medical Transportation benefit.
Mallory weaves her lived experience as a disabled woman living with a rare disease into her work, and has an extensive background in public speaking, training, technical assistance, and facilitation. She has provided accessibility consulting, and over 50 workshops and keynote presentations to state and national organizations across the country. After designing a graduate level course on Disability Justice for the Boston University School of Public Health, Mallory was named the 2021 MCH Alumnae Award for Outstanding Service to Individuals and Families, and most recently was named one of the 40 Under 40 in Public Health by the DeBeaumont Foundation.
