The fields of public health and midwifery both play key roles in addressing maternal and reproductive health disparities. By creating integrated midwifery and public health education programs, schools and programs of public health have a powerful opportunity to strengthen intersectoral partnerships for health equity. This presentation offers a roadmap to institutions outlining benefits, practical considerations, and potential program models for public health midwifery education programs.
