(K-6) Bridging Gaps in Levels of Maternal Care Implementation

ASTHO conducted key informant interviews with state leaders involved in Levels of Maternal Care (LoMC) to identify and address gaps in LoMC implementation. Effective LoMC implementation promotes access to risk-appropriate care (RAC) and reduces maternal mortality. This session will provide an overview of how LoMC can serve as a lever to improve maternal health outcomes and highlight key strategies for strengthening LoMC implementation based on major themes identified through the interviews.
